I get up early and take a half an hour to myself before the family wakes up for the day.
We have established “quiet time” for our family in the afternoon when we are home. Everyone reads, naps, or does a quiet activity. I use this time to read on my own in my room, or map if I need it.
I get up early before the kids but at night, I usually end up falling asleep in one of their beds!
I always liked to take my “me” time after the kids were all asleep. They went to bed at a decent time, and pretty much routine while they were young.

I get up an extra hour before work just so I can relax and do what I want.
I find that a long daily walk (I go with my dogs, but not everyone has dogs) is good for my body and my brain, giving me time to think and a good opportunity to move and breathe fresh air.
I do not get any me time unless I schedule it into my day planner so that is what I do. Then I stick to it “sorry but I have plans then”
By getting up early to make sure I have enough time to get my stuff done.
I have “me” time by going to sleep later than my kids. It gives me time to get things done.
Waking up a half hour before everybody else , and drinking tea really works great. You have time to think about the day that is beginning.
I have me time by waking up at sunrise while the city sleeps and just relaxing by either watching my favorite show/movie, reading a book or doing some yoga.

In my life it’s scheduling that time way in advance hhaa or disappearing to the “bathroom”
yoga!!
I schedule me time right into my daytimer and don’t let anything get in the way of that.
I try to make sure I take time for myself a few times a week however I can. One of my favourite ways is to go to the gym, put on the tunes & “tuning out” the world while I exercise.
If I can’t get to the gym then I still put on the tunes and tune things out while I draw, colour or just daydream!
put the kids to bed a little early, so I can have some time to relax
I take the dog for a run in the morning – it makes him happy (and therefore better behaved) and it makes me happy too – so we all win. It’s a good mental break and I feel really good all day because of the exercise.

Create a daily ritual for yourself that will help you relax, it doesn’t have to be a long time…perhaps 15 minutes. Do what works for you but make YOU a priority every day!

relax on the beach
schedule it into my calendar
I make sure ti jump into the tub every night when all is quiet for a bubble bath and a good read.
First give yourself permission to schedule me time. I schedule once a month for just me. Sometimes it is leaving work early or on my lunch break. And sometimes I plan it for the weekend. I have gone to a movie, gotten a spa treatment, a new haircut, a pedicure, I have even gone to a sports event. Schedule it in and it will happen!

Make sure to schedule even half an hr each day for yourself or make an appt for a massage.

I get up a hour before the kids so I have me time
We have our first kid on the way so it’s easy to get ‘me’ time. After he is here hopefully hubby and I can take turns having some ‘me’ time.
My best tip to ensure I get ‘me’ time is to take a few moments when I need it without feeling guilty. All of life’s demands will still be there! Sometimes it’s when my daughter is in bed, or occupied or on a playdate.
get up earlier
I schedule an extra long lunch hour sometimes!
The bathroom. Seriously! It’s the only place I know that I can get the privacy I need; so I take a bubble bath, read in the tub, watch TV or drink a glass of wine while I unwind.
Well, the #1 not to tip is: don’t smoke the special stuff before driving away from school. That’s what one Victoria BC mom found out when she got busted for speeding and then checked for MJ intoxication. You could get a lot of me time in jail for smoking up and driving, but a better tip for getting me time is to just take 30 minute after WALKING the kids to schools and relax in the great outdoors with a cheery walk.
Can’t miss Corrie, my kids know not to disturb
When I get home from work I always take a half hour to destress before preparing dinner.

I would say getting your spouse involved is important. Make them see how important it is for you, them, your relationship and the whole family. And don’t forget to return the favor because they need the same thing! If your spouse is on board, it will be much more likely to happen.
i will wake the kids early so they go to bed early so i can have me time. or i have my husband take them both out

i have to say in the hot tub
Reading a couple of chapters of my chosen book
I love to bead and embroider, and having a tidy little kit that I can open up on a whim makes it much easier for me to start and keep my projects going. If you have to dig out the supplies for me time, it’s not going to happen…. so keep whatever you love easily at hand!
I’m a morning person, I get up with the sun…love the peace and quiet…it’s my ‘me’ time
I take me time by going for a walk after the evening chores are done. It is good for health and gives me some real unconnected me time
I go for a walk in the morning, start my day with a clear head.
Going for walks 😀
Going for walks and eating a good breakfast
Retire early!
I ALWAYS take one bubble bath a week. Its my me time and I invested in some good quality all natural bath oils and dead sea salts to enhance my experience. Its my way of grabbing some me time while being a *little* productive by reading a good book and getting a scrub-adub-dub. When we take care of ourselves we can offer more to the world!
To get me time, I take the dog for a relaxing walk through the woods.
Set aside some time while the kids are at school or the husband is at work to just read a book, take a relaxing bath or get your nails done.
I used my time at the gym as “me” time 🙂
My me time is weekend time and being a hermit.

Either I get up a little bit earlier or stay up a little bit later.
l take a coffee out to the veranda.
I try to schedule some time in the evening to take a bath, read a bit or watch TV.
For me it’s not procrastinating because even if I put things off it’s all I can think about so me time becomes worry time,
We stick to a schedule and kids are in bed by 7:30 and then it is me time
Depending on the weather, I like to bike to work to get a bit of fresh air, exercise, and me time.
wake up early!
I like to wake up early before the kids to clean, take a bath or read for a while before they wake up
wake up early or stay up late!

I have Wednesday evening “reserved” for me time not matter what. Sometimes I go out and sometimes I stay home but my husband will keep the kids occupied so I can do whatever I like.
My best tip to make sure I have some “me time” is to
get up an hour earlier in the morning to give me some time to myself, to meditate, maybe do some yoga, have a relaxing bath and a nice cup of tea, helps me to prepare for my busy day and relax before the household gets hectic when everyone gets up!
I get up at 5AM during the week to have my quiet time. The Sun isn’t even up at that time, neither are the birds – so this ‘me’ time is literally just for me!
My best tip to ensure I get ‘me’ time is to learn that it’s okay to say “no” once in a while without feeling guilty about it.
I get my me time in the quiet hour before the kids wake up. All is calm and quiet while I enjoy my coffee.
i wake up an hour early in the mornings before work to read inspirational books and drink herbal tea
I like to go for long bicycle rides, all by myself in the morning.
I usually just hide in the garden with a cup of tea or go for a walk. When it isn’t the dry season, I take a cup of tea in the bathtub with a book and stay in there until I get waterlogged.
Sometimes I take the long way home from work and enjoy the peace and quiet
My tip is to delegate, delegate, delegate. Don’t think you have to do everything yourself. If other family members are helping out (even if they don’t do things quite to your standards), then you will have time to look after yourself.
I grab a book and take a long bubble bath after I get the kids to bed. I’m only interrupted a few times if I’m lucky.
