The PNE and Playland are traditions in our family. Having grown up in North Burnaby our family was always at The Fair, enjoying the summer concerts, noshing on delicious fair food (oh hello mini donuts!) or thrill seeking on the original coaster – this year is no different. We’re super stoked about the upcoming Summer Concert Line-up, NEW rides and exhibits for 2015! The 2015 Fair will run from August 22 until September 7, and will be closed on August 24 and 31 – Open 11:00 am until late!

Come celebrate at BC’s legendary Fair at the PNE! With hundreds of NEW performances and exhibits and more than 50 thrilling rides & attractions, and all that food, this year’s fresh new Fair at the PNE is definitely the best part of summer!

This year’s line-up for the Summer Night Concert’s offer a diverse mix sure to satisfy all musical tastes, from pop stars, country favorites, r&b icons and rock ‘n roll legends, there’s a show for everyone on the schedule! So who can you expect to see this summer? I for one am pretty much fan-girl excited to see Daughtry and Boys II Men – do you have a favorite in this year’s list?

NEW AND ONLY FOR 2015

For the first time anywhere, all the majesty of a true Broadway show is available for fans young and old to experience- FREE with admission to the Fair. Tony Award nominee Cathy Rigby takes flight in an all-new production of Peter Pan!  Discover the magic all over again of this two-time Emmy award winning and two-time Tony award nominated production.Peter Pan is filled with timeless magical moments and a captivating hook. The legend you thought you knew, is now the adventure you never dreamed possible… Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan!

The Magical History Tour: The Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition will be making its world premiere on the Fairs opening day August 22, which also happens to be the 51stanniversary of the Beatles historic concert at the Fair in 1964.Guests will be able to explore the entire Beatles story through an inspirational journey of creativity, curiosity, and love. This one-of-a-kind experience will present the most extensive Beatles memorabilia ever assembled in a tour.

This interactive exhibit will thrill every Superhero fan in the family! Guests will be able to explore, learn and test their skills at the many interactive stations to find out what discipline of Superhero power they excel in!

This new outdoor exhibit will offer guests a spectacular and representative snapshot of thirteen different dinosaurs that roamed the Earth during the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. Featuring eight life-sized animatronic models and five static models, the exhibit will teach fairgoers about the dinosaurs stories and share recent discoveries for the Fair’s younger guests.

Bring your kids or just your inner child to take a trip under the ocean and into the magical world of Mermaids! Swim with the jellyfish, snorkel through the kelp, and join the fun in this Mermaid musical celebration.

Other NEW Attractions

The Fair at the PNE is excited to feature a new and exciting area, the Craft Beer Festival. This licensed area will feature 20 local craft brewers each week for guests to sample the diverse craft beers being developed in the Lower Mainland.Twenty vendors will be featured between August 22-30, and a new group of 20 vendors from September 1-7.

The inaugural PNE Donut Dash 5km presented by TRY EVENTS is Vancouver’s tastiest 5km run where runners will be re-energized with tasty Fair treats throughout the course including mini donuts, cotton candy and more!Registration includes a PNE Donut Dash t-shirt, race bib, finisher’s medal and FREE admission into The Fair at the PNE on Sunday, August 23. Entry fee:Early bird registration fee is $30 to the first 500 people to register! Regular registration fee is $35 until July 31,late registration fee is $40, August 1 to 16 Entry fees (plus service fees) are per person.
