It’s my favourite time of year! You can all tell I’m a bit of a Christmas junkie, right? Give me 5 minutes alone in a shop and I can usually be found ooh’ing and ahh’ing over holiday decor, smelling candles and surrounding myself in all things Christmassy.
During the holiday season for us, it’s a complete gong show. Life gets crazy. It gets especially crazy for bloggers who spend evenings glued to their laptops sourcing out the gift guides, events and contests all on top of their careers, family time and trying to organize their own holiday events. When I have the chance to wind down, I jump on it. Last year, we were invited to the Timberline Country Christmas event at Timberline Ranch last year and to this day, it gives me such a calming feeling thinking back on it – check out our review of last year’s event!
You won’t experience any over commercialization at Timberline Ranch, you won’t spot Santa or his Reindeer and you won’t feel rushed and overwhelmed. It is the perfect spot to enjoy Christmas as it should be – in the country!
Leave the busy city behind, and enjoy the short trip to a 73 acre horse ranch in Maple Ridge that has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland. Here you will be enchanted by glorious lights, beautiful trees, interactive scenes, lovely music, and delightful activities that remind us of times when Christmas was a lot simpler . . . and a lot less commercial. – Timberline Ranch
