Come unpack the best snacky snacks and more with me from @hflvancouver & @wholefoodscanada! The Sip&Savour events are my fave way to discover new goodies that are local, organic or just healthier options to snacks we already love! We had to do this right when the bags got home because once my fam sees the Whole Foods bags they know there’s some goodies inside and always steal them before I can peek. Snack thieves.

Loved seeing some of my faves including @purplesfulsnacking (that bag is *gone!* already), @organikahealth, @hippiesnacks, @herbalandgummies, @lacroixwater, @healthyhippocandy, @rittersport, @califiafarmsca and some new brands to try like @crich1870, @yeshidressing, @stdalfourusa and @goodfoodforgood!

Anyone else have a preteen with a dresser bursting at the seams after a growth spurt? (Ad) So thankful that Diabetes Canada is holding another drive in event! Happening May 27th from 9-1, roll up at:

🚘 Kelowna at 1940 kane road at IGA
🚘 Abbotsford at 2323 Emerson Street MSA Arena
🚘 Nanaimo at 4166 Departure Bay Road Diabetes Canada clothing collection Centre

It's easy fill your trunk with your bags or boxes of gently used clothing and small household items. When you arrive at the event pop your trunk and volunteers will collect your donations!

By donating, you're diverting textiles from landfills, helping fund research and sending kids with type 1 diabetes to camp. For more info visit declutter.diabetes.ca

Can’t wait to get the purge on in our closets this weekend!

There’s nothing quite like feeling spoiled and once again, @metropolisatmet is on it with #MothersDayAtTheMet!

Happening this weekend, Metropolis at Metrotown is hosting a Pink Disco Party that is open to the public this Saturday, May 13 from 2:00pm-3:30pm and 3:30pm-5:00pm. Online registrations are now full, however limited walk-ins will be available by donation to @causewecarefoundation a Vancouver-based charity that helps single mothers achieve economic security, build capacity, and create a positive future for themselves and their children

Not able to make the party? There’s still ways to celebrate!
🌸 Find the perfect gift for mom (or yourself!) at one of the 330 stores
🌸 Capture a photo of mom or the family in front of one of the many photo op displays throughout the mall
🌸 Take a walk through all the Mothers Day decor ambiance
🌸 Hit up one of the many delicious food offerings throughout the mall so mom doesn’t have to cook!

Is TMI even a thing for us around here anymore? Team lack of gallbladder here friends and let me tell you... a good probiotic and taking care of your gut health means the difference between frantic bathroom runs and uncomfortable bloat to actually getting a handle on those #2's.

Such an incredible night last night with my favourite person. Liv rocked out to her first concert, the incredible @lewiscapaldi and I managed to chaotically run up and selfie with two of my favourite creators on a frantic pee break. @thedarcymichael & Jer honestly got me through so much of Covid with their endless laughs and I am so thankful for large creators that continue to normalize life with neurodivergence. 🙏

The look on this kids face when she says “NO more cherry blossom photos, get in the car!”

I can’t help it though, the @volvocarcanada XC60 looks beautiful against that backdrop! I’ve been so impressed with the range on this ride, around 300km on a quarter of a tank without recharging.

Every time I get behind the wheel of a Volvo it makes me entirely reconsider my car choices. Comfort, convenience and beautifully styled interior with incredible mileage. 😍 And let’s be real, it’s a gorgeous build. And if you’re a road trip family, the integrated roof rails for storage, panoramic sunroof and massage front seats definitely make those longer road trips a bit easier. When I discovered the front seat massage button, those hour long commutes in traffic were *much easier* to tolerate.

I'm psyched for @cahealthfood this weekend, and even more excited that our friends at @attitude_living will also be there! Going low/zero waste has never been easier with so many of their products moving towards sustainable packaging. We were able to easily swap out our sunscreen, shampoo, soaps, and deodorants for much better choices for us and I can't imagine going back.

Just me missing the @mazdacanada CX30 Turbo hard t

Just me missing the @mazdacanada CX30 Turbo hard today. We're in the market for a new car and this one checks so many of the boxes. Perfect size for my little legs, everything in a comfortable reach, lots of room for kiddos to climb all over each other in the back seat, ample room for my spontaneous Costco trips and jusssst the perfect size to deter my husband from trying to move my seat.

I'm a huge fan of crossover SUV's, especially ones that don't scrimp on design. Can you spy the Kodo design of the sweeping S curve on the doors? She's the quickest, prettiest car in her class if you ask me. Zooooom!

What's your favourite colour for your cars? The Mazda red is wearing me down!
