It took until 1960 for all Canadian women to win the right to vote. This was after decades of our ancestors fighting for that right for us. There’s no excuses anymore, your vote is important. Don’t throw it away. Not sure who to vote for? It’s a lot, I get it, you have time to review their platforms (you can find them online!) and find what aligns best with your views, values and goals for your community.

Advance voting is open now and polls close on October 19. You don’t need your voter card if it hasn’t shown up yet, ID with your address on it is also enough to cast a ballot, so make sure to GET OUT THERE.

You don’t get to complain if you don’t vote, those are the rules. 🗳️

Get together your friends, cast your ballot and then hit up @punkrockpastries for an empowering snack “it’s like a reward….” afterwards, everyone deserves a little treatsie.

Just had the ~spookiest~ evening hanging with the Shadow Society to kick off the #BurnabyHalloweenFest and you won’t want to miss all the fun happening this month!

Can you believe that I’ve lived in Burnaby for 15 years and this is my first time at @harthouserestaurant? Not the last! We were hosted to spine-chilling nibbles and an intimate cookie decorating lesson with none other than Hollie and her @punkrockpastries crew. I did not partake, I know my limitations, they would have looked like a toddler decorated them. 😶‍🌫️

Celebrated the best birthday indulging in the gooiest, moistest and diviiiiine cinnamon buns ever all decked out for birthday celebrations.

@groundsyvr has legit changed my “I’ll bring dessert” game for the foreseeable future, these indulgent buns are the perfect wow factor and trust me… everyone will want seconds (including me 🤣)

I got the birthday buns obv, but they are also known for their fruit covered cinnamon buns and the OG, smothered in delicious cream cheese icing that made me wish I had a line right to their machine. Gimmmmay the icing!

High school can be a wild ride, especially for neurodivergent kids dealing with new schedules, schools, and friends. So, we came up with a fun solution: an “anxiety transition bag” packed with goodies to help when things get overwhelming.

With a little help from @cricut, we had a blast designing custom zip bags using infusible ink and layered iron-on. It’s a quick, easy project that’s perfect for beginners. A designed hers with a cottagecore, mushroom, and forest vibe.
