🗻 Have you ever wanted to see the very tippy tops of the Canadian Rockies? 🗻 We had the immense pleasure of seeing @flyovercanadavancouver's newest show: Windborne: Call Of The Rockies and even now, I can't stop thinking about it.

Created in partnership with @yourbcparks and local Indigenous communities, this majestic display of our most wonderful mountains is sure to leave you absolutely breathless. Weaving together tradition, Indigenous story telling and videography, Windborne gives flyers a birds eye view of some of our most picturesque, and untouched areas of the Canadian Rockies. And spoiler alert? It's stunning.

Running now until September 25th daily from 9:30am-9:00pm, we hope you'll make this incredible show one of your summer plans! The pre-show is something I will never ever forget. More info in the link in my bio.

Don’t forget to set aside some time to check out the Brentwood Block Party in North Burnaby! Happening August 6 & 7 and August 26 & 27 (adult focused), enjoying live entertainment, food trucks (so much food) activities and the chance to do a little shopping while you snacky snack, all while nestled in between the growing Brentwood area.

I may have devoured the Cajun chicken sandwich from @mobacontruck with no shame, it was the perfect early dinner for the fam and a chance to check out some neat art displays!

🎼 SUMMER STAGES 🎼 Pack your blanket, chair, some snackie snacks and maybe a little bug spray and head down to Confederation Park in Burnaby for many fun-filled days of summer entertainment! From live music, musical theatre, puppets, Indigeneous contemporary dance, clown shows, kids music, magicians and more - there are dozens of shows still lined up for summer!

While you're in the park, don't forget to visit the ample playground, take a quick cool off in the spray park, hit up the track or even walk the field down to the @burnabycentralrailway to ride the mini train! We're so lucky to live so close to this park and it's easily one of our favourites! If you want to take a break from the heat, check out the library or grab a cool drink at Eileen Dailly.

One of the most fuel efficient SUVs I’ve driven so far, enough room for *all the kids* and top tier safety ratings! Blind spot detectors, lane departure warnings, seatbelt reminders viewable to the driver and easy LATCH system for car seat installation. And for those of us (aka me) that get lost easy, Mazda has the easiest navigation system. 🗺

It’s my favourite time of year! @bcblueberries are about to be in full swing, the fresh local fruit is incredible! I work super close to @surrey_farms_bc and they are my go-to for fruit during the week.

Raspberries were $15 a flat, buy 2 flats get 1 free (so 12 baskets for $30!) and the blueberries were $8 a basket or $15 a flat.

They share when they have a multi buy deal on their Instagram so make sure to follow them to keep an eye out for when the 🫐 flats deal happens too!

This is just the one closest to me but we are SO lucky in BC to have a some of the BEST blueberry farms! I’ve tagged some of my fave places to visit for fresh fruit; markets and the best upick experiences! Happy snacking!
